Akreditasi.org, Hai teman-teman, kali ini kita akan membahas contoh soal tentang Kongruen dengan persegi panjang. Pada soal kali ini diminta untuk menentukan Panjang Diagonal. Berikut soal yang dimaksud.

Soal:

Persegi panjang KLMN kongruen dengan persegi panjang RSTU. Jika KL= 6 cm dan LM= 8 cm, hitunglah RT!

 

Jawaban: 

Ingat, jika dua bangun datar kongruen maka sisi-sisi yang bersesuaian sama panjang. 

KLMN kongruen dengan RSTU. 

Jika KL= 6 cm dan LM= 8 cm maka: RS = 6 cm TU = 8 cm 

RT adalah panjang diagonal persegi panjang, dengan menggunakan teorema Pythagoras maka: 

RT = √RS^2 + TU^ 

RT = √6^2 + 8^2 

RT = √36 + 64 

RT = √100 

RT = 10 cm 

 

Dengan demikian, panjang RT adalah 10 cm.
